Sisak, Croatia

This is a small town only an hour away from the capitol Zagreb. Card shows the old castle, old bridge and the church. Also, a lovely sunflower in the corner, one of my favorite flowers.

On the Way

This postcard is now on it's way to Norfolk Virginia USA. Others are making their way to Germany, Brazil and Finland. There is still one travelling to Switzerland since Oct. 27th. Until this one is registered as being received I can only send out 4. I sure hope it isn't lost.

town, Maple Valley,Washington,USA

Alavus,Finland
I like to have my postcards and stamps ready when I request a name, so I can drop them in the mail box that day. The site will count how many days your postcard is travelling and uses the day of request. I have the cards, just need the stamps so will do this again in a couple of days.

Introduction

Hi ! I came across this site Postcrossing and thought it would be a fun thing to try out. After registering, you request an address to send a postcard. Once you do this your name goes on the list so you can receive one. There may only be 5 postcards travelling at one time. Each mailing is given a postcard ID, so after receiving it can be registered on the site. I was going to start a scrapbook of the ones I receive, but have decided to keep a blog. I'm looking forward to receiving postcards from around the world that I will never get to.
